Hi JC18- great question! At this time, you are not able to share your Jabra Elite 75t with another person as the two earbuds have a range of 8-10 inches between each other. This will not change when the left earbud is able to be used on its own. That update will simply allow you to switch which earbud is the primary and which is the dependent.

I just read there will be a software update in 2020 that will allow each bud to be used independently I would imagine the controls stay the same as they are now though. So I would also think since they would work independently they would not have to be real close to each other, so we shall see.
