I have a Sony TV and have not been able to connect any Bluetooth headphones to it. This might be because I am using the TV in ARC mode which outputs sound to my receiver. This may be causing the TV Bluetooth function to be disabled. Try connecting other Bluetooth headphones to your Sony TV. If other headphones work then you know it is this particular headphones.
