Hello Philz- The Jabra Elite Active 45e is designed to be worn with the cable behind the neck and the earhooks wrapped around the ears. The looped part of the eargel fits into the ridge of the ear and secures the earbud in place. The earbud is an open-ear design to let ambient sound in, so you can be aware of your surroundings.
