“What is the earloop made of? Is it a hard plastic with no adjustment? Most hard plastic earloops make the mic stick out to far from my mouth and the person I am talking to can't hear well. Also, the hard plastic loops hurt the ear.”

The ear loop is a soft rubber that fits snug inside the ear. Much better fit than the previous loop around the outside of the ear. In addition, the Jabra ear loop does not interfere with sunglasses.

I don't actually use the earloop that goes over the ear because it makes the Stealth stick out from my face. I find that the headset stays firmly in my ear without the earloop- the plastic loop that fits within the ear does the trick. It is firm but soft plastic and fits comfortably in the ear. You have to be careful taking off clothing but other than that I don't even use the earloop and I am SO HAPPY with my Stealth.

Multiple ear silicon fitments make it easy to fit many ear types. The boom is less than 1-1/2", and I soak at normal conversation, almost whisper and I am told I can be heard clearly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's a clear plastic. The first couple of days my ear got sore but after that it was ok. There are 2 to choose from, but the on was way too big for my ear. I wish that they made the part to go inside the ear a little bigger or better yet mede it a total circle instead of the hooklike shape it is. I have to wear both for it to stay in my ear. If I wear just the inner hook by itself it constantly falls out. I like it's sound quality, it's very clear on both ends of the call. This is my first Plantronics device, I usually purchase Motorola, but I can't seem to find them any more. I think my last one was Sony. I wear them all the time and would not drive without one. I hope this info helps you with your decision.
