Yes, it comes with a power cord. You can also run it with 4 C batteries if you choose. It comes with a small microphone for recording, but you can record without the microphone just as well. I am happy with this item - it is hard to find a good small cassette player these days.

An AC power cord is included. I used it to power my recorder and I prefer this to using batteries for power.

Yes, a power cord is included, and this is my preferred way of usage. This is a great product at a great price! I still play some audio cassette tapes, so I use frequently!
