The turntable cannot connect directly to it, it needs a receiver or amp of some kind. I used the same thing I previously connected to my old speakers (an older Aiwa receiver) and got an adapter so I could hook it up to the soundbar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The soundbar has a 2nd HDMI input but that doesn't appear to pass the picture through to the TV. To do what you describe connect the DVD to the TV and all of the rest of the things to the soundbar either through Bluetooth transmitters or through a switch box to one transmitter (soundbar receives Bluetooth) or an HDMI switch if you can convert outputs to HDMI via fancy conversion cords... I have an HDMI switch for my various game machines connected to the TV and the switch even knows automatically which one is on.
