It’s great for music, the bass is loud and the speakers are loud
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think music sounds pretty rough on it. It compresses too much and there is a pronounced lack of mids. You can almost feel the compression on bass. Treble is really tinny and trashy sounding through the upfiring Atmos speakers at times No EQ either. If you are an audiophile and like to fiddle with EQ and what not, do not buy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These four music are good but not as great as five.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The JBL Bar 9 is excellent for both music and movies. The key to this sound bar is to find where to place the subwoofer and surround sound speakers. The problem with this sound bar is the HDMI placement. The HDMI arc pushes in and therefore loses visual and sound. So if you're planning to buy this sound bar... purchase the ultra micro HDMI... because even if you buy the right angle adapter HDMI...the weight of the cable still makes the HDMI input to push in. If you have this sound bar and lose voice or even visual....this is the problem. Otherwise...this sound bar is awesome.
