• I own both. Boombox 2 has deeper fuller bass then the original, especially at lower volumes. It weighs a pound heavier then the original with a smaller battery (Same capacity as original) meaning they’ve upgraded elsewhere (drivers). The sound signature has also been improved.

• Our newest JBL Boombox 2 now have a Bluetooth version 5.1 and a Party Boost feature so it could be connected to other Party Boost enabled speakers like Flip 5 and Pulse 4 and play the same music at the same time.
