ok first of all stay away from specs they are all a lie or come from a lab 122 db? yeah right at what frequency and how much distortion. Just go listen or buy it and trial it. Specs mean nothing neither does amp wattage. Current makes bass not watts. This thing is amazing. Plus it takes 3 db increase to sound twice as loud, this also takes twice the amp power each time. The JBL is much better quality than BOSS. Boss is junk. JBL has another unit similar to this with lights thats louder but the sound quality and deeper bass on this unit makes the difference. Specs dont matter listen to it or watch it. There is a you tube video of the woofer excursion on this unit. Amazing. I had a 99 ION before it was junk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t know how many db’s the JBL Boombox has but it is pretty loud and has a lot of bass. It puts out even more power when it is plugged in to an outlet. I think this is just to conserve battery when it is not plugged in.
