I charged the speaker and the lights on the bottom were lit but when I play it the lights are out. How do I tell how much battery is left ? null

Just press one of the buttons on top and the battery level LEDs will come on briefly.

The number of lights at the bottom decreases as the battery wears out. When you get just one light lit it's time to recharge your battery. The bottom lights do go out after some seconds to save battery I suppose. So if you need to know the status of your battery you will need to turn off your speaker and turn it on again and you will see how many bottom lights you get.

You can turn the power on & off & the light will usually appear so you can see how much charge you have left...all the lights on means fully charged.
