I need a good portable speaker to use for lectures I do. My groups,are 35 to 50 people. I do not want to buy something that will not do the job. Will this speaker meet my needs or do you have a recommendation ofanother JBL speaker. null

This speaker is loud enough to be heard by 30 people.

There are way too many variables (room size, curtains, pictures, rugs, etc.) that will change the sound results within a room. Since it's a JBL Connect Enabled speaker (CHARGE 3, FLIP 3, PULSE 2, XTREME, and BOOST TV), you can get another JBL speaker that supports this feature to apmlify the sound if 1 CHARGE 3 is not enough.
