I would try to charge it up the speaker for maybe a half hour to an hour to make sure the speaker battery is not dead. If no success after that I would try to reset the speaker by simultaneously pressing the volume up and play button. The speaker should light up white on the top. At this point you can release these two buttons and then you can proceed to press the power button to turn the speaker on. Hope this helps and good luck.
