Sounds like you may have blown the speaker by having the volume up to loud and too much bass only way to fix is see if it is under warranty and covered by a warranty and send it in. Best way to prevent this from happening again is to not have the device you are playing the music from turned up all the way and use the speakers volume control also being careful about how loud it is and if the bass is starting to sound distorted turn it down quickly. Can happen to any speaker cars and surround sound systems included.
