Plugging an iPhone 17 into our JBL Charge 4 will only charge your phone, as the port will function as a power bank. If you want a wired sound connection, our JBL Charge 6 or Flip 7 support lossless audio over USB-C. To use this feature, turn on the speaker, then press and hold the Play button while plugging in a USB-C cable until you hear the confirmation tone.
