• Yep. I love it. The sound is pretty loud and full for a small speaker. However, your question is subjective. Some people are okay with a single good Bluetooth speaker, others want big room filling stereo speakers. If you want the former your fine. If you want the latter spend more and get a bigger Bose stereo or something comparable.

• you could use it for a desk top. I use it sometimes for my meetings at work when we have presentations. its a little louder than the built in computer speakers.

• It has an Aux input so it could easily be used with a desktop. Sound quality is not nearly as good as even a cheap set of PC speakers with a dedicated subwoofer.
