Please try again later.I don't believe that there's a way to do this on the speaker but if this feature is available on your laptop you'd have to control it via the laptop/server. There's a sound alert that sounds when shutting down and starting up and it's just a simple push button start/stop so just "start it up" when you're ready to start the preso and save battery life if not charging via a USB port.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The power saving on the CLIP cannot be turned off. It has auto sensing and will turn off if no audio signal is detected from the source. To reactivate just press the Volume + button.
