“How does the sound of the JBL Clip compare to the Flip 3?”

• Flip has a touch more low end! That's what I was leaning towards, but compact & rugged fit my bill better. Flip has a exposed speaker end, prolly wouldn't throw it in & out of backpack without a case for it. Flip has better low end but it's bigger like a can of pop. Both are excellent, if your not traveling with it, go for flip, if ur on the go with it, you can't beat the compact rugged clip. It still bumps too!

• Well I must compared to the flip 3. Flip 3 lacked the toughest and was not appealing to the eye

• I don't know about the other product but the sound from the jbl clip is very good.

• Flip 3 is louder overall. The sound quality on them is similar though but the flip is bigger.

• Both speakers produce clear and crisp audio. The CLIP 2 has an RMS of 3 watts while the FLIP 3 has 16 watts. With that said, the FLIP 3 is definitely louder, and generally more powerful, also provides more bass.
