I don't have a portable CD player, but the box contains a cord with double-ended earphone plugs. With Bluetooth turned off, I can use the cord to connect the earphones to my iPhone using the earphone pugs on both devices to listen to music or stories.

Yes, there is an Auxiliary cord option that would allow that for any device that doesnt have bluetooth.

Yes they can be connected to a portable CD player or additional devices that have a standard 3.5 mm jack for audio. The Everest 700 and Everest 700 Elite come with a Micro USB cable (for charging) and 3.5mm audio cable for connecting to devices that are not Bluetooth enabled.
