My question to your question is, why do you need to know the wattage? wattage is important if you are paring a speaker to an amp. In this case it is matched by JBL. Normally when someone ask the "wattage" question it is because they parallel volume in Db to wattage. It is loud enough to get a knock on your door if you have it on 3/4 volume in a hotel room. it will not replace a home stereo sound system but it gives you all you need to take great sound on the go in a small setting. Perfect for camping, boat hotel beach ect.
