Our JBL Flip 5 speaker has an auto-off feature that will allow it t turn off by itself to save power when it no longer receives a signal. There is no way to disable this feature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you have to turn the speaker on each time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just discovered that I can't use this as a speaker for my Amazon Echo Dot. I've used my Echo Dots in various rooms with various bluetooth speakers connected all the time. They stay plugged in and they stay on all the time. this has worked with my Oontz, my Soundcore, and other speakers. This does not work with JBL speakers, it seems. This is a huge drawback and I'm going to return my speaker to Best Buy tomorrow. Very disappointed!
