“I purchased the JBL link bar with subwoofer because of the awesome deal. I was not aware that the setup needed an internet connection. Is there a way to set up without internet access? If so please help. Thanks”

yes and no. it has options for either hardwire or wifi 2g and 5g. but if it does not have internet access andoid tv will not function. it has a optical input so i suppose you can use it as a normal soundbar but that defeats the purpose of android tv intergration

I don't know. I connected it to my wifi. Honestly I have only played with it a few times. I love the sound of it. However it takes a lot to get it to work with the TV, Cable box, Fire stick and iphone. Too many remotes. Too hard to connect. I am the only one in the house who uses it.

You will need to set up the JBL Link Bar to wifi via the Google Home app in order for you to fully utilize the Android TV.
