• A:Answer Basically it means no matter what environment you’re in, the noise cancellation feature of the headphones will adapt to the environment. For example, if I’m home the noise cancellation may be different from when I’m on the public bus taking a ride to the grocery store. The outside noise is different depending on where you are at and the headphones will adjust the noise cancellation feature automatically depending on how noisy the surrounding sounds are.

Q: QuestionThe 460nc noise cancel didn't hold up well against louder landscape equipment like hedge trimmers. Would these?

• A:Answer Thank you for your question. Our JBL Live 460NC has an Adaptive Noise Cancelling feature. Noise from landscape equipment is often variable and at higher frequencies, which can be challenging for many ANC systems that are optimized for lower frequencies. It will not completely block out the sounds of a hedge trimmer but it should significantly lessen the noise.

Q: QuestionI currently have the JBL Tune 770NC and enjoy the sound quality but my only problem with them is that they don't fit my ears comfortably, most likely because they are too big. Would I have the same issues with these or would they be better fit?

Q: QuestionDoes the ANC function work when used with the 3.5mm cable, or only when used with Bluetooth?

• A:Answer A better answer is, "The ANC function ONLY works when using the wireless Bluetooth connection. Engineers are assuming their customers won't need the ANC function when plugging into 3.5mm. In fact, the industry as a whole is doing its absolute best to discourage wired connectivity, even though it's safer for the brain; pushing everyone into 100% wireless world for easier eaves-dropping without them knowing."
