• Yes, no wifi necessary. I use my iPad and my iPhone to play music via bluetooth. It’s portable so you can take it camping, fishing, basically anywhere (no wifi needed).

• Yes, this is a Bluetooth speaker. You don’t need wifi to use it. Just pair it with your iPad via Bluetooth and the speaker will play your music
