Is "open box" a return item? has it left the store?

I ordered these and center as open box items. They came in the original packaging and look completely knew. I dont personally know if open box items are returns, canceled orders or even something that was out on display, but based on my experience with these and the matching center which i also ordered opwn box i would not hesitate to order open box agai n.

I'm not sure if they left the store. They showed up in the original box with all the accessories still in their packaging. They appear to be brand new, and I saved a lot of money. From now on, I'll buy open box deals whenever they are available.
