I'm thinking of getting these, but I want to know if the sound feature works whenever you put them on or if you need to connect first to get the feature. Also, is it automatic or a button of sorts? null

Thanks for your inquiry. Our JBL Tune 770NC is supported by our JBL Headphones App where you can enable advance controls. One you have saved the settings on the App, your JBL Tune 770NC will automatically have what settings you have saved once you connect to your source device.
