No it disconnects but connect if you are in range

While they remain in this state, they conserve battery life and await reconnection. However, prolonged disconnection will eventually lead to battery depletion, though at a slower rate compared to active use. Therefore, while the earbuds don't instantly "die," their battery will eventually drain if left disconnected for an extended period.
