• Hello there ,the JBL Xtreme 2 is rated as IPX 7 water-proof: this grade means that the device can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes without permanent damage. It's okay if it falls into a river or lake, but make sure you take it out before it sinks to the bottom to avoid permanent damage.
