• At this time you can only pair 2 JBL Xtremes together. Using the JBL Connect app you can play them in Party mode, (same music on both speakers, but not in stereo), or you can play them in Stereo mode Left and right channel. JBL is suppose to upgrade the Xtreme firmware to the new JBL Connect + that willl allow you to connect up to 100 other JBL Connect + enabled speakers. JBL Connect + speakers cannot connect to JBL Connect speakers,,,,it is not backwards compatible.

• You don't pair all 4 to your phone, you pair them to each other using the JBL Connect option. There is a button on the top you press on the speakers and they will link together, that way you only have one Bluetooth connection on your phone that wont drain the battery as fast as having your phone talk to 4 different devices.
