• I don’t know what happens when you play and charge simultaneously, but I think it’s best if you do one or the other and play it safe.

• Thanks for your question. Yes, you can play audio with our JBL Xtreme 3 while charging as there is no harm in leaving your JBL portable speaker connected to electricity at all times. The battery will not overcharge.
