Yes on JennAir. I do not have experience with Kitchen Air. On a low flame when the exhaust is on (even at the lowest level), you will hear constant ignite clicking as the flame gets sucked away from ignitor and it thinks flame is out (due to Flame sensing Ignition). Good safety feature but it is annoying at times as it constantly goes off when the exhaust is on. (exhaust is too powerful :-(
