Yes, the Best Buy installer will hard wire the unit in for you. The cutout in our granite caused interference and the installer threw his hand up and said call us back after you get a granite company to fix the cutout. We were supposedly replacing a same size older Jenn-air unit. We got the granite cut and the unit installed and wired the same day.
