“Will this record live concert music?”

• I have not tried it for that. I believe it would record loud live concert music if placed near the music source, but the sound quality would not be very good. The further you move away from the sound source, the more diffused the sound becomes, especially if there are any other ambient noises (crowd, etc.). It's more suited for capturing meeting discussions or close-up sounds, within the radius of a regular room. That's how we've used it.

• I really do not know, I imagine it will. I have not tried to record on it yet, just playing some old tapes of my mothers.

• I have no idea. I have not used mine yet. I bought mine to record messages for my kids to have when I die. The lid locks in place,unlike the first ine the sent me which was broke on arrival. I hope it works when I get around to recording messages for my kids.
