“How do you power the on without the case?”

• I am surprised to see JLab providing an incorrect answer here. This model does not power ON without a case. This is a design flaw and multiple reviews on various sites brought the issue.

• Must have case to charge an remove to signal ear buds to turn on

• When they are out of the case they remain powered on until you put them back it.
