These are Class 1 Bluetooth 5, which is the current state of the art--I think the rated distance is 33 feet. Anyway, I use these with my Apple Watch, which is on my left wrist, and only get a very brief dropout once in a blue moon. Other, earlier technology BT buds that I have owned would drop out regularly and near the end of battery life. These easily handle a two hour session at the gym and they pair almost instantly.

The theoretically proven range for Bluetooth 5 for a maximum of around 800 feet which is up to four times the range of Bluetooth 4.2 LE. Of course it would depend on factors such as clear line of sight, and things which obstruct its path.
