Why are these listed a Bluetooth 5.0 as the package as well as the manufacturer state they are Bluetooth 4.2? This is very misleading as I have purchased these earbuds and feel I was sold something I did not receive. null

These earbuds are not anywhere near what is described and from the poor quality and bulkiness believe the supposed 4+ star rating is a sham. Mine worked for all of one hour and than one ear conked out and could never get it to work again. And there supposed guarantee is worthless. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk.

They are 5.0 compatible, you need 5.0 in order to connect them together... I got a 5.0 on my phone and they work great no lag or cuts, but still don't expect the greatest sound out of them

I did read everything on the site which is why I’ve contacted JLab customer support. The customer service agent gave me the attached reply and later told me to return the item. It’s easier to believe what you read on the internet but I prefer that the product match the description of what I purchased and according to JLab customer service “these are infact Bluetooth 4.2”. This is my concern as the website has obviously mislead another customer.

They are Bluetooth 5.0. The physical packaging was made before the product was finalized. When the product was finalized they were able to include 5.0. This information can be found on their website.
