My jlabs jbuds air are not linking with eachother . when paired with my phone only one ear piece pairs... null

Here’s what you do. Hold the left button down for 3 seconds, right button down for 3 seconds. Once they’re both flashing blue/white and connecting to your phone as two different devices, you then forget the Bluetooth device to both of them. Then, find the nearest river/lake/swamp and use them and the charging case in a rock skipping competition because I’ve tried literally everything and nothing works. The right and left chambers of US congress pair better than the right and left jlab earbuds.

For“Jlab Go Air“ (they have the open charging case), these are the instructions that came with it: 1) put in charging case 2) tap the button on the right one 7x and it will blink blue 3) do the same on the left. They will take a moment to pair. When taken out of the case, right flashes blue/white and left is solid white. They are now paired.

I had the same problem as everyone else in this thread. I tried tapping each 7 times, as all of the resources mention, multiple times with no success. But.... once I tapped the two earbuds together after pulling out of the case after resetting, they actually paired and synced together as one unified set of earbuds! I can't believe that tapping them together worked, but it did. I don't know if it matters, or not. But I touched the two touch plates, with the Jlab logo on them, together.

So this is EXACTLY what I did and what you gotta do. So only one pairs at a time, pair with the left or right one, then in the bt menu choose to disconnect from it but don’t “forget device”yet. Then put it in the case, then take the second one out, pair with it, disconnect from it. That’s when you “Forget device”. Once you disconnected from both and forgot the device and they’re in the case, press the right one 7x rapidly until the light blinks, then do it for the left 7x until the light blinks. Make you you leave them in the case for at least a minute after you did that. Once you live waited a minute, then take them both out, pair with it like a new device and try some music. It should work if you do it like this.

Dude I feel your pain. I've been using these going on a year now and they seriously suck. 

Constantly depairing from one another is just one problem. They also seem to randomly switch into this terrible EQ mode where everything sounds like it's being played through a 1930s ham radio. 

These headphones have a mind of their own and are completely useless. I follow the steps to get them re-paired to one another constantly, with very inconsistent results every time. 

Sometimes I spend days without them just letting the battery drain flat so I can reset them and use them again for anywhere from 1hour to 3 days before the issue occurs again. 

I honestly will never buy any product manufactured by JLAB again. These are absolute garbage, more trouble than they're worth, and have me longing for a standard 3.5mm heaphone connection (completely defeating the point of these headphones -- which is supposed to be convenience). Based on my experience with the JLAB Go Air headphones I have zero faith in any product this company produces.

I had to get them blinking white…(hit them x7 in charging case, wait ten seconds pull them out.)

I turned them both off holding them in for however long until the while light quit blinking. I then turned them both back on, The white light blinked slowly. Like every 3 seconds or so. But when I tapped them three times, the white light blinked more rapidly. I did this to the other side, keeping them within 2inches of each other and they finally synced up. I’ve been at it for over an hour.

You may not have to do the whole x7 thing. But I was just trying to get the white light to blink slowly.

You want to hold the right ear bud for 10-15 seconds then repeat the process on the left one wait for a white flashing light to indicate they are ready to pair but make sure that your Bluetooth is off. If none of this works I would just find something that is worth buying that works because there have been many problems with them before and they never work for me but you have to go through a deep process.

I found with my earbuds that they were pairing to my phone as separate devices, so to solve this I forgot them on my device and then paired them both to a different device for 24hrs (idk if the timeframe counts) then when I paired it with my phone they connected together again. But honestly I would never buy another jlab product again.

I have had this issue as well. The tap 7x on one and then do the same to the other side did not work at all. After millions of attempts messing around with them I have found a new reset if you are seeing two possible jlab earbuds showing up in pairable devices on your devide. Put both ear buds in the case, shut the case, delete or forget jlab ear buds from your device and turn off the devices bluetooth. Then open earbuds case, hold down on to both earbuds at the same time while still in their case. Ear buds will go through a cycle saying ready to pair then blinking blue and white at different times then with say powering down and then will power back on with a beep at the end. Once you hear that final one beep. You will have reset the pair between the two ear buds. Shut the case again and turn on your devices bluetooth. Open your ear buds case and pull both ear buds out and listen for the right ear bud to say ready to pair. On your device you should now see pairing avaliable fot only one jlab earbud verses two. Test them out. I hope this works for you as it did for me. If not I would attempt again and hold them for longer after the final beep sound.

I have jlab go pop+ earbuds.  Right out of the box I could get them to connect to Bluetooth separately but not together.  I tried putting them back in the case and forgetting them then tapping each one 7x then removing to allow to pair and the turning Bluetooth on to pair to my phone.  I did this over and over with success until I did these steps but restarted my phone after putting the earbuds in the case.  While my phone was turning back on I tapped each earbuds 7x while in the case and removed them and allowed them to pair to each other.  By this time my phone was ready so I turned on Bluetooth and connected them.  This time both earbuds were connected or synced.  Turning the phone off and back on was the step that was not mentioned in troubleshooting but worked like a charm.

They say to tap both ear buds 7 times, this obviously doesnt work... i disconnect and unpaired from my phone, then put the earbuds in the case. I've had zero luck with any the solutions posted here and it's kind of sad. This was my second pair of these headphones and the first worked fine for years.

Just seems like a lot of lemons in the production line. The case also feels like a lighter and cheaper plastic compared to the same exact model I bought a couple of years ago.

THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME:
1. Turn on Bluetooth on device (laptop, cell phone)
2. Take both earbuds out of the case
3. Tap the left earbud 3 times
4. Tap the right earbud 3 times
*** Both buds should be blinking blue and white (in pairing mode) and the Bluetooth Device list should only show ONE "JLab JBuds Air ANC" to CONNECT to.

Click "Connect" and voila! You should hear beautiful sound from both earbuds.

Alright, from what I've experimented doing/searching online, I honestly think the solution varies from person to person, but here's what I did, in case this helps:  Put them in the box, tap right 7x, tap left 7x.  The left should now be flashing blue at least.  Then tap right 7x again, it should be flashing a color.  Then, as they are both flashing, pull them out of the case, touching each other on the logo side.  Hold them like 2 inches from your device, and select the option to forget them from your bluetooth menu.  Turn off/on BT, and then, as they are both still flashing, reconnect them to your device.  For some reason, this worked for me when everything else failed.  I think a better recommendation would be to get a product with less battery and pairing issues, but it is what it is.

I had these for 3 yrs and never had an issue, until now, and it's only because I did one fatal thing, I took both earbuds out and held them both for a second on my hand and I knew after I did that, that they were going to break down cause the touch sensors were going to be pressed in different ways, maybe this is how everyone always has issues with these cause they hold them in your hand and start touching the sensors or something? Reset Both Earbuds

Turn OFF both earbuds (this is the key to getting this to work.  i make sure the earbuds are fully charged.  then i take them out of the charging case and wait until they power off on their own.  they will both start blinking blue/white very fast for quite some time.  wait until they stop blinking, then wait a few more minutes to be sure they are powered off.)

Now, go to Settings>Bluetooth menu on your smartphone.  Tap the name of your JLab earbuds and ‘forget’ them from the device. You will get the ‘Forget’, ‘Unpair’, ‘Disconnect’ or ‘Remove’ option depending on your phone model.

now put them in the charging case. wait 30 seconds.

Next, tap one of the earbuds quickly and repeatedly for 7 times or until it flashes blue 3 times.  Repeat the same process with the other earbud while keeping both in the charging case.  wait 30 seconds.

Take them out of the case and keep them two inches away from each other.  wait 1 minute.

Now, reconnect them with your mobile device.  they will be working now.

This was just happening to me until I fixed it about 1 minute ago. I read through the manual it came with to resolve it.

1) Remove the bluetooth profile from the device you're trying to connect it to (aka: "Forget" the earbuds)
2) Place both of them in the charging case
3) On one of them (doesn't matter which) tap the JLab logo 7x until it quickly blinks blue four times
4) Then on the other one, do the same (tap 7x until it quickly blinks blue four times)
>> At this point, BOTH earbuds will have basically factory reset and they won't remember anything. Just like new.
5) Take them both out BUT WAIT until the LEFT one becomes a *solid white* (no blinking) and the RIGHT one goes to blinking blue. This is the critical step I was missing.

I think what's happening is the left one turns solid white once it's "paired" up with the right one, at which point the right one becomes the 'leader' so-to-speak and so whatever the right one connects with, the left one gets tagged along with it (the right one may just instantly relay whatever it receives to the left one, behind-the-scenes).

I figured it out! You have to delete the JLabs app for pairing from your phone and go into your App Store account and also delete the app from your purchase history. Next you redownload the app and resynchronize them through the application before heading into your settings and selecting your JLabs product. If your experience was like mine, you were seeing two different JLab earbud names because they were only registering individually. After I did this there was only one name and they were in sync.

I figured it guys AFTER 2 hours!!! Do whole thing put in case (make sure case is charged) tap 7 times on the logo (it will blink blue 3 times and turn off) do both sides! Close the case for 1 minute. The company sent me a second pair after six months because I couldn't resolve this issue. Six months after the second set, they started to do weird stuff too. Flashing sound back and forth between ears, randomly disconnecting while in use, and finally only a single earbud would connect. Exactly the same story on both sets.

I tried everything here and it didn’t work until I did this:

Turn off Bluetooth on you phone.
Leave earbuds in case.
Open case.
Hold the right earbud down for about 7-10 seconds. Release and do the same thing to the earbud on left. Wait a few seconds.

I had all the same issues as everyone else. Texted wife if she still had receipt so I could do warranty return...then I plugged into my chromebook about 5 minutes hoping something would pop up onscreen, nothing did. If I remember correctly after I did that I took them out of case and then back into case. Then did the 7 tap on right one and it flashed 4 times, did the 7 tap left one and it flashed 4 times. Warning: at this point you will be hit with a rush of adrenaline! Removed them from case, put them side by side and to my amazement they paired. Put both back into case, removed from case, put in ears and they are (for now) working correctly. NOTHING I read and tried worked until after plugging into chromebook.

Forget Earphones from your phone and all connected devices. Charge the case and earphones completely.
Turn off Bluetooth from phones and all previously connected devices.
Start with turned off earphones.
Press and hold one earbud for 15 sec. It will blink white and blue, release when it flashes white.

Both earbud will then try to connect to each other. Once connected, right earbud will flash blue and white.

I can’t say for sure that this will 100% work at all times, but it worked for me on my second try. If one side ends up in pairing mode (flashing white and blue) then you should be good from my experience. This applies to those who had/had both earbuds show up as individual Bluetooth devices. Just fixed it for me. Left both ear buds out of case for 3mins until they turned off (not linked to anything). Then I pressed and hold the left ear bud button for 3sec till it turns on. A few seconds later i did the same with the right ear bud. The left stayed white and the right blinked blue and white.

Simple it’s the combination of two solutions…
Forget the device then 7 taps on eachside close lid when your done for a minute! Then the second solution is the 3 second hold on both ear bud then you’ll see one side will be solid white and the other will be blinking blue and white that’s when you know the are connected! Bam! Then finally reconnect them tou your phone! You should see only one as an option if you did it right!

Hi, I had this exact problem with my jlab earbuds, I found that if I forgot both of them (because they were no long connecting as a singular device) and then connected them both to my laptop/other unknown device. I then left them connected for 24hrs (idk if that time had any impact). And then when I connected back to my phone they were pairing together again. I have the air pop earbuds btw.

Read thru this thread with fustrated people, just got mine working 30 seconds ago, try this,

Put them in the case, do the tap 7 times on both and then after they pair together before connecting

Turn on anc mode or the be aware mode by holding the left bud for a few seconds and then pair to them with anc mode on.See if this helps,

You need to make sure they are not looking for another device you paired with before. Ie if you paired with a pc unpair them before you pair with a phone

Put both in charging case turned off. Disconnect/ unpair from phone forget device. Make sure case is charged. Press and hold right bud for roughly 7sec. Then once it says ready for pairing. Press the left bud and hold for 7sec. They should connect and pair together. Then connect to Bluetooth on phone. At least that worked for me.

I saw someone say to put them in the case, press the button on the right bud seven times, then the left one seven times, then just take them out and try pairing them to your device as normal. It worked for me!

(FOR JLAB GO AIR POP OWNERS)
- Have the buds charged well
- Make sure you have forgotten the buds on your device

Now be sure both earbuds are in the case when linking them together. Dont take them out yet. Have the case open until both earbuds are emitting a fade in/out blue color, then tap the left ear bud 3-4 times until it flashes blue 4 times. The light on the case should flash red a few times. Repeat the same for the other earbud. After this, take both out and one ear bud should be flashing blue/white, and the other is a solid white. Should connect together fine now

1 Keep the earbuds in the charging case and forget “JLab GO Air Pop” from your Bluetooth device settings.
2 Quick tap 7x on one earbud in charging case. Earbud blinks blue 4 times.

4 Take both earbuds out of the charging case.

Me personally I tried putting them in the case pressing both 7x at the same time then the light on the case and the ear buds fade blue on and off then waited till one stopped them took them out and touched the ear buds together on the logo then they worked

K, I tried many sets of instructions that didn't work. I believe that the video here worked however I had to tap 7 times instead of the 3 times that this video instructs.  Go to 2:25 mark of https://youtu.be/W_gQDWBeDTg and follow instructions for 'Bluetooth not connecting'.
That said, I'm not positive I followed their instructions to the letter.  Good luck!

I figured it out. 
You have to place them in the case. 
Press the right side 7x 
Left 7x 
Forget devices,
Turn off Bluetooth.

Take them out, tap them both 3 times at the same time. If that don’t work, hold them down. 
Eventually they will connect

I was having a terrible time figuring this out but turns out after going through the troubleshooting tapping 7 times (i have jlab sports) each in the case with blootooth turned off pulling them out the case and touching them togrther while waiting for the ready to pair signal and boom the paired to each other finally! Ive been messing with these things for 2 days ive had them for 2 years or so and loved them i wsd gonna be mad if they didnt start working but thats literally all it took was them touching when pulled out the case !

If you have android they show as separate devices on bluetooth connect them both then go to media and play audio on both this will be a ptch intill they both die then forget the devices in bluetooth they should reconnect to each other afterwards

So sorry to hear of the pairing issues. Please follow the following set of instructions to get paired back up. We’re sorry to hear that you are having this issue with your earbuds not connecting. Please find the steps below on how to get them pairing back together.
1.      Remove the connection from your device (then turn off your Bluetooth)
2.      Turn both earbuds off
3.      Press and hold the power button on your right earbuds for 10-15 seconds. You will see a series of indicator lights which will include a blue/white alternating lights. Continue holding the power button until you see only a fast blinking white light.
4.      Repeat the same process with your left earbud.
5.      Both earbuds will blink only white while they search for each other.
6.      Once pairing together, the left ear will show a solid white light. The right light will start blinking blue/white indicating it is looking for a device to connect to.
7.      On you device under your Bluetooth settings there should be a new connecting: JLab JBuds Air.

Both buds need to be close to each other, say one in ear and the other in pocket. You need to follow pairing procedure to the letter or they wont pair.

Try to take each earbud out of the case at the same time. Then hold the button on each earbud for about 8 seconds and then connect them to your phone. If that does not work then I would seek technical assistance.
