im a pretty poor source for electronic advice but i think these would be fine to use as you suggest.

Yes. Case should remain closed. There are three lights on the front that will display charge. The buds will flash a blue light when paired to your device or joined to each other where you can hear in both ears.

I wouldn’t leave the case plugged in all the time, just like any electronic over charging can kill the battery’s life and to hold its charge on its own.
