It will mount to your a6300, the stem has a standard 1/4-20 thread (same as tripods) on both ends. While this thing is very sturdy I'm not sure I would trust it with a camera of that size on the outside of a moving vehicle but I'm sure it would be fine for stationary use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should screw in the standard tripod mount at the bottom of the camera. However the suction cup and adjustable ball joints will probably have a hard time with the weight of you camera as they were designed for a GoPros weight.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This does NOT fit the standard screw mount for most cameras. You'll need to check if you have 3/8" or 4". This is 3/8" Course thread. Most cameras are fine threads. Did not fit my Fuji and almost striped the threads! Careful!
