This device is a tripod. It screws on!! This is the perfect stand. It is on a phone, in a hospital. To face time patient and friends/family. Because it is flexible it has the ability to be adjusted for a patients bed situation. It’s long and heavier than some stands. Again perfect for the hospital (it can sit on a table, pillow, sheets, pretty much anyplace. And probably most important, it doesn’t get lost (tangled in sheets, thrown away by mistake etc). With the addition of safety case for phone and a safety screen this stand withstands falls to the floor without damage to phone or stand. Excellent purchase.
