My mom's case was not leaking, but she was still burned by it. It was not exposed to any sun or heat either.

I have not so far. My case is only a week old. I have a friend who said "IF it cracks to be careful because the glitter will burn". She did not have problems with a leak. The case was durable, however her case was damaged in an accident.
