Does it protect the phone effectively from drops? null

Yes! I have a 1 and 3 year old who have dropped this thing multiple times and so far it's been protected! I think the purpose is more more about style, but it has definitely protected mine more than enough!

I haven't used this particular one, but my other Kate spade has worked beautifully. I would also recommend putting a screen protector on your phone.

I have dropped my phone several times since getting this case and my iPhone is still looking new. Also, I haven't found any scratches or cracks on the case itself like I have found on other cases I've owned.

I have dropped my phone several times and my phone has stayed well protected. Does have a raised edge around the screen to protect the screen if dropped face down. I don't know how it will do with really high drops, but from hand to ground drops it has been effective.

Unfortunately, I had dropped my phone couple of times and I thank god that I had the case on and my phone is as like I haven't dropped it at all.
