• Very little if any. Case seems to be more designed for aesthetics rather than protection.

• The edge is slightly raised. However, there is a gap across the bottom edge, so no protection there.

• Yes it does. Except for the bottom inside edge. But this part shouldn't encounter anything as the side edges will protect it.

• It has a raised lip around the edges and offers great protection without the bulk. This is my third Kate Spade case and I love them.
