• Yes, it doesn't interfere with the camera. I havn't had any issues with it. The case fits perfectly.

• Yes the case is thick enough to give you room to lay your phone down and not touch the lens area. It does NOT cover the lens but raises it enough to have a space between the flat surface and camera lens. They do make lens covers that are lens screen protectors.
