• I think it’s alright. I mean, you can’t exactly drop it in the lake but if you spilled something on it, it would probably absorb it so it won’t ruin your laptop. And I just washed my case too and came out just fine.

• I honestly don't know. I bought this one for my wife, for her iPad... She hasn't had any issues that I know of... I'm sorry I can't help you with this one. But if I learn anything new, I'll update.
