• They do not need a wire between them. They can be run wirelessly or with the supplied ethernet cable.

• You do not need the wire between them unless there is too much interference that they are cutting out. I use them as computer speakers so there is plenty of "stuff" between them and I do not need it. I just run the power cord to each one and connect wirelessly.

• Wiring them together is optional. If you run them wirelessly, they sample at 48kHz/24bit. Wired, they do 96kHz/24bit.

• They claim they are blue tooth speakers but they can't stay connected and sound like terrible. DO NOT BUT THESE.
