A model number would help, but I'm assuming you mean 80 watts per channel. It will get you to a reasonable listening level for most situations, but might be a little under powered for a party. Generally speaking you want an amp that can put out slightly higher wattage than the speaker is rated for. But as long as you don't turn the volume up to the point where it distorts, you're fine.
