“Will the new meta center work with the older r series? I already have r7 left and right. I noticed the meta has a 4 ohm rating. And a high peak wattage then the older kef c2. So I was wondering if I should just get the kef rc2 non meta.”

You will need more power to make it really sing compared to the R2C. I would go for the R6 Meta if you could fit it in your space. People have wanting a bigger r series center channel and now here it is.
