What is the difference between the Shot button and the Latte & Cap button? When I press one, the other lights up. Why have two buttons? null

So the SHOT button is to make your coffee stronger (like a Tequila shot stronger) and the Latte button is to have a foam top whereas the cap button is to just foam flat…yes all 3 buttons will lights up wherever you press anyone it’s just giving you an option .

Hi Patrick thanks for your question. Selecting the SHOT button brews a 2 oz. concentrated shot of coffee which is perfect for making lattes and cappuccinos. The difference between a Cappuccino and a Latte is in the frothed milk For a cappuccino, the frother starts with 4 oz of milk, and froths it to be approximately 50/50 milk and froth. For a Latte, the frother starts with 6 oz of milk, and froths it to be ~20-30% froth. We hope this is helpful!

Use the shot for a strongest brew 
Fill bottom line of frother cup with milk, hit capp button…. 
(I think cream and milk or just cream for latte!!?? )
