Sounds like a warranty issue. Contact Best Buy support team. Or try pressing the small cup and add that to your small filled cup.

For best results, we recommend descaling every 3-6 months using our descaling solution to keep the coffee maker free from scale or lime build up. We also recommend performing needle cleaning. What may sometimes happen after brewing many K-Cup pods is that some of the coffee grounds can get in the needles (top and bottom). This can result in seeing some coffee grounds in your cup, a short cup, or it can completely clog your brewer and prevent it from brewing. Should a clog arise due to coffee grinds, it can be cleared using a paper clip or similar tool.
