Are you using well water? If you are it could have dissolved minerals and perhaps sulphates. We use filtered water (Zero....big cartridges) and we know when to change when the water starts to smell like fish tank water. I would boil some water....and put that in the tank and run it through a few cups and see if that helps.

If you do not have a filter, You need to buy the Keurig filter and holder and put it in place. Wipe the unit down, put in fresh water, fill to water line and then run it with no keurig cup. Let it fill your mug, throw out that water and you should be good to go. I always change my filter so have never had a smell. If that does not work, clean with vinegar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suggest you clean fill the water reservoir and then add a cap full of white vinegar, and fill multiple cups until the reservoir is empty. Repeat if necessary, but one full emptying of reservoir usually works.
